Dear Diary

"Since I was young, I've always had a rebellious spirit. The mainstream never quite resonated with me, and I often found myself questioning authority. School, in particular, proved to be a challenging environment, with its rigid curriculum and heavy-handed teachers. Eventually, my rebellious nature led to my expulsion at the tender age of 14.

Following that, I embarked on an adventurous path, living on the streets of London for six months. There, I found my tribe among a group of street kids, some my age and others a bit older. It was during this time that I learned valuable lessons of survival and developed a deep compassion for people from all walks of life.

Later, my wanderlust led me to travel with my dear Mother in a camper van, exploring the wonders of Australia. But my thirst for adventure didn't end there. I ventured out alone soon after, traveling far and wide, meeting incredible musicians and kindred spirits who inspired me to create my own music and share my original songs. Busking became my way of life, allowing me to connect with people all over the world and experience the true beauty of humanity.

Throughout my travels, I've encountered extraordinary moments. I found myself face to face with saltwater crocodiles after falling in a river in the Northern Territory and even experienced the electrifying force of a lightning strike on a moonlit night atop a mountain. These encounters, though terrifying, taught me never to take life for granted and to remain fully present in each moment.

The real world became my school, and my adventures served as profound lessons in life. Having explored over 50 countries, I've witnessed boundless beauty and encountered people from diverse cultures, races, and backgrounds, all with hearts filled with kindness.

However, these experiences have also sparked a nagging question: Why does mainstream media often fuel fear and sow division among people? Just by tuning into the news, it's evident that fear and darkness dominate the headlines. Witnessing the prejudices harbored by many against individuals they know nothing about deeply troubled me. Moreover, it saddened me to see governments driven solely by power and wealth, neglecting the well-being of people, animals, and the environment.

This is why I poured my heart into "Rebel." It stands as an anthem for our times, a rallying cry urging us to take a stand for what we believe in and bring positive change to the world. The song features a powerful chorus that begs to be sung along, igniting a fire within me whenever I perform it live. It's a reminder to embrace our inner rebel and fearlessly challenge the status quo.

I hope "Rebel" resonates with you and serves as a catalyst for embracing your own inner rebel. Let it inspire you to courageously stand up for your beliefs, even when the path ahead seems arduous.
