"Love" holds a special place in my heart as it was born from a deeply emotional and transformative period in my life. It was on a bittersweet Valentine's Day, when I found myself in the presence of the person I believed would be with me forever. Though I knew his love for me was present, the fear and wounds within him prevented him from expressing it. This lack of mutual declaration ultimately led to the end of our relationship, leaving me with a heart full of longing and sorrow.

To find solace and embark on a healing journey, I turned to the streets of Byron Bay, my musical sanctuary, and began busking. It was in those raw and vulnerable moments that "Love" flowed effortlessly from within me. As I sang the lyrics, I could feel the transformative power of music piecing together the fragments of my broken heart. This song became a testament to resilience, representing the courage to expose our deepest emotions and yearning for the reciprocation of love. Luckily, I had my phone with me and recorded the first version of the song, capturing its birth

Later, I posted a live video of myself performing the song on Facebook, and its raw and emotional rendition captured the attention of the esteemed Aria award-winning producer, Govinda Doyle. Recognising the authenticity and power of the performance, we embarked on a collaboration to capture the live essence of "Love." By recording it without a click track, we allowed the natural dynamics to flow organically, preserving the rawness and intensity of the song.

When I perform "Love" live, it never fails to evoke a powerful response from the audience. I remember one poignant moment when a man stopped in his tracks, moved to tears by the song's message. He dropped $100 into my guitar case, expressing his gratitude for hearing a song that resonated with his own journey. These moments remind me of the profound impact music can have on our lives and the way it connects us in shared emotions and experiences.
